Agents
Agent client
Local buyer client (@arcdot/agent): wallet, auto-settle, MCP proxy. Keys never leave your machine.
1. Create or import a wallet
New: create once. Saves to ~/.arcdot/wallet.json. Back up the recovery key it prints.
bash
npx --yes @arcdot/agent wallet create
Already have a key: import locally (never paste the key into chat or the website):
bash
# in your own terminal — replace with your 0x key npx --yes @arcdot/agent wallet import --key 0xYOUR_PRIVATE_KEY # or set ARCDOT_PRIVATE_KEY in the shell / MCP env, then: npx --yes @arcdot/agent wallet import --from-env
2. Fund
- Open /fund and paste the printed address (or use the deep link with
?address=). - Send about 0.05 USDC on Arc (not other networks).
- Optional check:
npx --yes @arcdot/agent wallet status
3a. IDE — MCP proxy
Do not paste the raw remote /api/mcp URL if you need auto-pay. Use the local proxy in any stdio MCP host (npx runs the client):
mcp.json
{
"mcpServers": {
"arcdot": {
"command": "npx",
"args": [
"--yes",
"@arcdot/agent",
"mcp",
"--origin",
"$ORIGIN"
]
}
}
}- Wallet keys stay on the buyer machine
- Proxy settles Arc payments, then forwards tool calls
- Copy-ready UI: Hub → Connect IDE
3b. CLI unlock
bash
npx --yes @arcdot/agent unlock --origin $ORIGIN --service <slug> --prompt "Hi"
3c. Frameworks / SDK (optional)
Only when you import the package in Node/Python wrappers:
bash
npm install @arcdot/agent
SDK: createArcdotAgent — unlock and callMcpTool auto-settle from the same local wallet.
Package
@arcdot/agent on npm.
