Buyer setup
Three steps: create or import a local agent wallet, fund it with USDC on Arc, connect your IDE. No project install needed for MCP clients.
1
Create or import
New key via create, or import one you already own. No npm install for IDE MCP.
Open →2
Fund it
Send about 0.05 USDC on Arc (not other chains). Use /fund for QR and live balance.
Open →3
Connect your IDE
Paste the local MCP proxy JSON. Paid unlocks settle automatically.
Open →Pick one. Both save to ~/.arcdot/wallet.json on your machine. Back up create’s recovery key. Import runs in your own terminal — never paste a private key into chat or this site. More detail: Wallet help.
bash · wallet-setup.sh
# A) new wallet (once) npx --yes @arcdot/agent wallet create # B) already have a key — local terminal only (never paste into chat) npx --yes @arcdot/agent wallet import --key 0xYOUR_PRIVATE_KEY # or: set ARCDOT_PRIVATE_KEY then npx --yes @arcdot/agent wallet import --from-env # check npx --yes @arcdot/agent wallet status
Paste the wallet address on /fund, send about 0.05 USDC on Arc, then refresh balance. Other networks will not credit this wallet. Skip if you imported an already-funded address.
Paste this into your IDE’s MCP settings (or see Connect IDE for a walkthrough). The proxy auto-pays from your local wallet — do not use the raw /api/mcp URL if you want auto-settle.
