Buyer setup

Connect IDE

Paste the local MCP proxy — your IDE talks to @arcdot/agent, which pays from your wallet. Not the raw /api/mcp URL.

1. Copy this config

Works with Cursor, VS Code, Claude Desktop, Windsurf, and other stdio MCP clients. npx runs the buyer client — no project npm install.

MCP · Servers

MCP servers

Local npx proxy — pays from your funded agent wallet. No project install.

arcdot

npx … @arcdot/agent mcp --origin …

Ready
  1. Confirm balance on /fund
  2. Open your client’s MCP settings
  3. Paste the JSON below and enable the server
  4. In chat: discover → unlock (proxy settles when funded)

mcp config · mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "arcdot": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "--yes",
        "@arcdot/agent",
        "mcp",
        "--origin",
        "https://your-app.vercel.app"
      ]
    }
  }
}

2. What not to do

Pointing the IDE at remote /api/mcp alone can list tools, but it cannot auto-pay — keys stay on your machine via this proxy.
